Three Eastern Pennsylvania State Cup champions will head to Frisco, Texas next week for the 2016 US Youth Soccer National Championships. The tournament kicks off with a ceremony Monday with games beginning on Tuesday and culminating with next Sunday's finals.

The U15 Boys Lower Merion Soccer Club (LMSC) Sabertooth Rats head to their first national championship after taking both the state cup and US Youth Soccer Region I titles. They are coached by former Eastern Pennsylvania standout and professional player Jeremiah White.

The U17 Girls Yardley Makefield Soccer (YMS) Premier Xplosion will try to finally grab that elusive US Youth Soccer National Championship. The Xplosion have finished runners-up each of the last three years.

Finally, Mike Gorni, a longtime Eastern Pennsylvania ODP coach and recently named All-USA Boys High School Coach of the Year, brings Lehigh Valley United (LVU) 97 back to the national stage in the U18 Boys bracket.

More information about all three teams can be found at US Youth Soccer's website.

Also, all three teams will be live-streamed at different points next week. You can tune in right from home.

We wish the trio the best of luck and hope to see some hardware back in Eastern Pennsylvania!
