Lynn Williams scored in the second half to give the U.S. Women's National Team a 1-0 win over Germany in both team's opening game of the 2017 SheBelieves Cup.

The match took place at Chester's Talen Energy Stadium, home of the Philadelphia Union. On Saturday, the Americans will play England, who fell 2-1 to France in the first game of the night on Wednesday.
