Back to News Three Philadelphia Union Players Nominated For MLS Awards Congratulations to the three Philadelphia Union players nominated for Postseason MLS Awards. Ronks native Keegan Rosenberry, who grew up playing with Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer clubs and starred at Lancaster Mennonite High School, was nominated for AT&T Rookie of the Year after setting a record for minutes-played by a rookie. He was also nominated for the Fair Play Award. Attacker Chris Pontius is one of the finalists for MLS Comeback Player of the Year. Pontius joined the Union last offseason and scored 12 goals to lead the team. Finally, Andre Blake is in the running for the Allstate Goalkeeper of the Year Award. Blake enjoyed a breakout season for the Union, starting 32 games and posting six clean sheets.
