The 2015 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup concluded Sunday in Overland Park, Kansas. Only one of Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer's five representatives reached a final.

The Souderton Stingers went 1-1-1 in group play in the Kansas City metropolitan area to earn a spot in the championship. There they faced Lonestar Red North (TX-S), a team that beat the Stingers 2-1 in their first match up.

Souderton responded in the final. Down 1-0 late, the MontCo club tied things up to send the game to extra time. A valiant effort fell short at the spot. Lonestar converted four kicks, while the Stingers managed just two successes.

Still, it was a tremendous performance from the girls. Congratulations and thank you for representing Eastern Pennsylvania so well!
