Presidents Cup Semifinals Recap 12U-19U

12U - 19U Teams Moving Past the 2022 SemiFinals

The Presidents Cup semifinals are coming to a close as we head towards finals on Saturday, May 21. Many talented teams from 12U to 19U have secured a spot in the competition. In the 16U girls’ bracket, United Philly Soccer Fusion competed against PA Classics Elite Blue in the semifinal and secured a SCORE win. United Philly Soccer showed their support for the girls on Instagram and said, “Need just one more W to make the dream a reality. Tonight, we celebrate, tomorrow we get back to work. We are UNITED!!! We are the FUSION!!!” These girls are ready for the finals!

North Union United SC Wave and Philly Fever FC battled it out in their semifinal game. North Union won 3-1 and will go up against United Philly Fusion this weekend. All four teams put up a good fight; now, on to the finals!

The 13U girls’ semifinal games were both nail biters ending in a score of 1-0. All four teams put out a good fight, but the Penn Fusion SA Predators and Steel United fought through and earned their spot in the Presidents Cup Finals. Penn Fusion SA captioned an Instagram post of the 13U girls with #InspireExcellenceThroughSoccer following their win, and we could agree more! Penn Fusion Soccer Academy Predators and Steel United 09 girls teams will compete in the finals on Saturday, May 21, at 9 a.m.

A 17U boys team has made history for their club following their semifinals win. Colonial SC Clash Red became the first-ever Colonial SC team to advance to the finals of the Presidents Cup! Although Danubia SC Eagles held their ground and played a challenging game, the Colonials earned their spot with a 1-0 win. Colonial will soon face Hulmeville SC Dortmund, who won 1-0 against Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals 05B Red. The two will go head-to-head in the finals on May 21 at 5 p.m.

Good luck to all teams competing! We can’t wait to see you all in the finals!
