pulisicacmilandebutBOLOGNA, Italy - Hershey, Pa. native Christian Pulisic didn’t take long to open up his scoring account for his new club in a new country.

Pulisic, who played at PA Classics as a youth before heading to Germany, scored in his debut for AC Milan on Monday in a 2-0 win over Bologna to kick off the Serie A season.

Pulisic was involved in the opener for Olivier Giroud when he crossed the ball to Tijjani Reijnders at the back post. The Dutchman played the ball across the face of goal to Giroud for the 11th minute tap in. Ten minutes later, Giroud’s backheel pass to Pulisic set up the USMNT captain’s beautiful finish.

Pulisic’s goal made him the first American to score in three of the five major European leagues, adding to his tallies in the Premier League in England (20 goals for Chelsea) and the German Bundesliga (13 goals for Borussia Dortmund).
