16 Boys Teams Compete at USYS National League P.R.O

US Youth Soccer National League P.R.O. hosted its first U15-U19 Boys event of the 2021-22 season from Dec. 3-6 at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla.

A total of 16 boys teams represented Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association at the event. Each boys team in the age groups have now played either three or four games. Those teams will take another step in completing their seven-game seasons when they play again at either National League Florida in February, or National League Arizona in March.

A brief look at where the boys teams stand after the games in Orlando…

U15 Boys

Group A: FC Bucks Dominion 07 is tied for the top spot with seven points. They defeated Cup 07B Gold (OH) and LSA MLS 07B (GA) by a combined score of 5-1. FC Bucks tied KHA B07 Red (KY), 1-1.

Group D: VSA Centurion claimed six points after winning two matches and dropping one. Victories came against Allegiance FC 07B Red Arana (TX-N) and Washington Rush B07 (WA). However, VSA could not best United PDX 07B Premier Black (OR), falling 2-1. Their point total puts them in a three-way tie for second in the group.

U16 Boys

Group A: Eagle F.C. 06B Black and Phila Ukrainian Nationals 06B Black found themselves in the same group in Florida. Eagle F.C. tied its matches against ANWSC Wellington SC 2006B Elite (FL) and 06 Lobos Rush Premier (TN), but fell to LFA Mueller 06 (MO).

Meanwhile, Ukrainian Nationals also tied Wellington SC, but lost matches to JB Marine Academy McKeon (MO) and LFA Mueller.

Group D: FC Europa 06 Elite defeated 06B Louisiana Fire Red (LA), 7-2, and bested Ajaz 06 White (MD), 1-0. However, they tied Anaheim FC B2006 Red Velasco (CA-S), 1-1. FC Europe has seven points, tied for second in the group.

U17 Boys

Group A: Phila Ukrainian Nationals 05 Black topped Salvo SC 05B Navy (MN), SB Leones 05 (TX-S) and Germantown Legends 05 Black NL (TN) by a combined score of 8-1. They have nine points and are tied for the group lead with MSC Academy 05 (IL).

Group C: LVU-FPA 2005 Boys Black and FC Bucks Dominion 05B were both in Group C for the U17 boys. LVU-FPA dropped matches to Libertyville FC 1974 Elite 05B (IL) and DKSC 05B Carrillo (TX-N), both by the score of 3-1. However, they defeated Inwood Texas Nemesis 05B (TX-S), 1-0.

FC Bucks tied contests against Galacy 2005 Boys Blue (IL) and Libertyville FC. FC Bucks’ win came against DKSC Carrillo. The teams have three points and five points, respectively.

U18 Boys

Group B: Phila Ukrainian Nationals 04B Black and LMSC Invictus each have six points after three games played. Ukrainian Nationals defeated Chicago FC United Boys 2004 Pre-Academy Red (IL), 3-1, and topped DKSC 04B Herrera (TX-N), 5-0. They lost to Chelsea East 04B (TX-N).

LMSC Invictus lost to KCSG Elite 04 (MO), 5-1, but outscored Chicago FC United and Chelsea East by a total of 7-3.

Group C: FC Bucks Dominion 04 won all three of its matches and is tied for the Group C lead with nine points. They topped Michigan Jaguars 2004 (MI), SCUFC 04 Boys (SC) and 04 TUSA Wake Blue (NC) by a combined score of 9-1.

Group D: With six points, Penn Alliance Elite 04 is tied with two other teams. They recorded victories over Four Corners FC B2004 R (FL) and Real Jersey FC 2004 (NJ) but lost a close one to Juventus-Zidane (FL).

U19 Boys

Group B: Two Eastern Pennsylvania squads are part of a four-way tie at the top of the standings in Group B. LVU-FPA 03 Black Gorni and Phila Ukrainian Nationals 03 Black, both won all three of their contests, giving them nine points. LVU-FPA outscored its opponents 12-1, while Ukrainian Nationals outscored opponents 8-1.

Group E: Radnor SC 03B Premier and CASA 03M United are tied for second in their group with six points. Both teams were able to defeat Westside Timbers 03B Copa Red (OR), and both fell to Leg-A-Z Caimans (FL). Radnor also defeated JFC 03/04 MLS Academy II (FL), 3-0. CASA topped Santa Barbara SC B03 Elite (CA-S), 2-1.
