It is with great sadness that Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer learns of the passing of Michelle "Mick" Geisinger. Geisinger passed away earlier this week at the age of 55.

Geisinger, a Red Lion resident, served on the York Unified Soccer Association (York USA) Board of Directors in various roles including League Administrator and Games Commissioner for the last 20 years.

"Mick served a vital role in the operation of the York USA and was key to our league's success," the league said in a statement posted on its website. "She will be greatly missed by the Executive Board and our member clubs and the youth we serve."

Funeral services for Geisinger will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, November 19 at Life Tribute by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Dr. in Red Lion. The services will be preceded by a visitation from 2-3.

“It’s never easy to lose someone from the soccer community, especially someone as dedicated as Mick was," said Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer President Jim Kuntz.  "We ask for all our members to support Mick’s family and York USA in this difficult time.”
