Two former Eastern Pennsylvania ODP players have been named to the U.S. Under-19 Men's National Team that will compete in the upcoming 33rd International U-20 Men's COTIF Tournament in Valencia, Spain. Auston Trusty (Defender, Media) and Kevin Silva (Goalkeeper, Bethlehem) will be among 22 players that will represent the United States in Spain.
Trusty has been a fixture on the Youth National Teams for a few seasons. He competed for the Under-17's at the World Cup in Chile last fall.
A Union Academy product, Trusty previously played for Nether United in addition to his ODP contributions. He is committed to the University of North Carolina.
Silva started as a forward, believe it or not, for Lehigh Valley United before making the switch to keeper. He will head to UCLA for his collegiate career.
The COTIF Tournament starts July 20 and runs through August 5. The United States opens pool play against Venezuela on July 26.
