Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania – December 5, 2014 – Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer today announced the recent hiring of Dillon Friday as the association’s Marketing and Communications Manager.
In his new position, Friday will contribute and manage website content, coordinate Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer’s social media accounts, assist in organizing tournaments, and contribute to the club’s publications including Touchline, Pennsylvania’s leading youth soccer magazine.
“We are excited to have Dillon join our team,” said Chris Branscome, Chief Executive Officer of Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer. “Dillon has vast experience as a journalist and possesses a deep love for the game of soccer that will only help us grow as an organization.”
Prior to joining Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer, Friday worked as a freelance sportswriter in the Philadelphia area. He covered high school sports for the Delaware County Daily Times and wrote extensively for numerous regional sports websites.
Friday graduated from Hamilton College (Clinton, NY) in 2012 with a degree in Creative Writing. He played four years for the Hamilton Continentals varsity soccer team, and was named to the Liberty League All-Academic team twice and the New England Small College Athletic Conference All-Academic team once.
