Plymouth Meeting (August 4th, 2015)—Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer is proud to announce the hiring of Christina Henderson as its new Marketing and Events Coordinator.
In this position, Henderson will handle the on-site planning of the organization’s various events including the Annual Awards Reception, Annual General Meeting, Indoor State Cups, and game day appearances at Philadelphia Union matches and the Army-Navy Cup at PPL Park. She’ll also work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Communications Manager on day-to-day operations within Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer.
“We are excited to have Christina aboard,” says Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Chief Executive Officer Chris Branscome. “We take great pride in our events and given her track record, we are sure Christina will only make them better.”
Henderson comes to Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer with experience in a variety of fields. She spent the last five years at St. Joseph’s University where she helped manage the sports complex facilities. Henderson handled the scheduling for outside parties and aided in the setup and management of events as well. Prior to St. Joseph’s, she worked at Pebble Pools Inc. as a bookkeeper and office manager.
She graduated from Cabrini College in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and History. She also worked in the school’s athletic department, serving as the Assistant to the Sports Information Director.
Henderson earned her Master’s Degree in Organization Leadership and Development from St. Joseph’s. Her initial task with Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer will be the planning for National Youth Soccer Month, which takes place every September.
