Tryouts for the ODP team kick off in August and September across six districts in Eastern Pennsylvania, including Harrisburg, Lancaster, and Downingtown. After mass tryouts through October, the chosen few venture onto an intensive soccer training journey.
Soccer Training With a Purpose
Dedicated training sessions from November to December lay the foundation for success. Come January, friendly matches and tournaments within Eastern PA test the players' skills. February brings friendlies in Maryland and Virginia, followed by the prestigious Far West Championships for boys U15 and up.

Throughout this period, the watchful eyes of professional scouts begin to take notice. Regional competitions in March-June see ODP teams from across the East Coast battle it out, providing a platform for players to showcase their abilities. Only 20 players make it onto each of the four regional teams, representing the best of the best from 54 state ODP organizations like Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer.
