Back to News Bethlehem Steel FC Drop Home Opener On a blustery day in the Lehigh Valley, more than 3600 fans came out for Bethlehem Steel FC's first ever home game. They would leave somewhat disappointed. FC Cincinnati scored two first-half goals and held on for the USL win at Goodman Stadium. The home side did make things dramatic at the end. Eric Ayuk, an important attacking figure for the Union last summer, scored in the 90th minute to pull the Steel within one. But the referee's whistle ended any more hopes of a comeback. The Steel, 1-1 on the season, will play at New York Red Bulls II next weekend.
