Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer is proud to support the 2022 Army-Navy Cup on Friday, October 7, at 7 PM at Subaru Park. While Eastern Pennsylvania will be an active participant on the sidelines, bringing along the spirit and rooting for both rivalry teams, they will anxiously await the halftime portion of the night. During halftime, their very own National Championship player, Isabella Brown, will take the field and accept the honorary First Lieutenant Travis Manion & Corporal Michael Crescenz Award. The Manion Crescenz Award is a highly coveted accolade given to two high school-aged soccer players who best exemplify the spirit of the two outstanding men that have served our country.
This match has occurred annually since 2012. The last time these rival academic teams faced one another was in October 2021, when the Navy secured their first win in over seven years. Delaware County, the US Naval Academy, and the United States Military Academy ask all attendees to bring their school spirit! All friends and family are encouraged to come and support this special tournament as they hope to surpass their attendance record of 11,075 people. Fans will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a series of pregame activities at the plaza to raise their spirits for the game ahead.
