The Eastern Pennsylvania State Cup Championships took place Sunday, May 18 with all twelve championship matches played at United Sports. Each team played its final match seeking the State Cup Championship.

The wins assure the teams of a spot in the US Youth Soccer Region I Championships to be played in Kingston, Rhode Island, June 26th through July 1st. Winning that regional competition would catapult the team to its ultimate destination in Germantown, Maryland in late July for a shot at one of the oldest and most prestigious titles in youth athletics--US Youth Soccer National Championship Series Champion.

More than 250 teams battled their way since March to make it to the final State Cup games played at United Sports in Downingtown, PA. The age groups ranged from U12 to U17 boys and girls. U18 and U19 boys and girls State Cup Finals are being played on June 1st. More than 5,000 players are expected to compete at the Region I Championships in Kingston this summer with an additional 10,000 soccer enthusiasts in attendance.
