Yasmine Machlof
I have been associated with HVAA since 2005 in their micro program and eventually became a part of HVAA Freedom 1999, an elite girl’s team. I played at Lower Moreland High School where I played both soccer and lacrosse earning multiple league and captain honors. Following high school, I committed to Holy Family University where I was a four year starter for both soccer and lacrosse while studying biology and chemistry. I graduated in May 2022 with honors. I have also been a licensed USSF referee since 2016 and have been coaching and training for several years. 2023 marks my 2nd year as a head coach and I couldn’t be more appreciative to give back to the community I grew up in.

Kerrin Wasserstrom
Kerrin is an HVAA coach and board member. She grew up in Abington and was a four-year varsity starter for Germantown Academy ('96). After high school, Kerrin played goal in college at Bucknell University and the field while abroad in Scotland at Stirling University. Her love of soccer has continued as an adult, from watching the US Women’s National Team and Premier League, playing in adult leagues and giving back to the local community through coaching. Kerrin began coaching locally for Pottsgrove Soccer Club before returning to the area, where she coaches multiple girls' and boys' teams in the travel program at HVAA. She is most proud of her daughters also giving back to the community and coaching for HVAA as well.

Darcie Saar
I was born in North Carolina, but grew up in Reading, PA. I graduated from Wilson High School where I was a three sport varsity athlete; tennis, basketball, and soccer. I accepted a scholarship to play soccer at Penn State University on their first D1 Women's Soccer team at University Park. In the summer of 1997, my PSU team played the English Women's National Soccer team at Wembley Stadium, that took place before the FA Community Shield Match in front of 40,000 spectators. Penn State became the first American women's soccer team to play in Wembley Stadium.
I am the co-owner of Let's Organize This, a home, work, lifestyle organizing business. I also am a Executive Function coach and I am the assistant soccer coach for FC Revolution. I spend my free time supporting my 16 year old son, Griffin, on the tennis court or in his musical endeavors and I coaching my 13 year old son, Jasper, on the soccer field, and cheer him on the basketball court, tennis court, and sometimes he will even play his guitar for me. I also enjoy spending time with my husband, attending concerts, supporting ALL Philly sports teams, Liverpool Soccer, all things Penn State (WE ARE!!), traveling, and spoiling my two adorable pugs, Rooney Maverick and Tobin Mamba.
