Jesse Novatski, coach of the ODP U14 Boys North team, is living out a lifelong dream this weekend as he competes with a team representing the United States in the Over-35 division at the prestigious King Cup tournament in Las Vegas, Nev.

Novatski’s soccer journey, which began in youth recreational leagues and progressed through competitive travel soccer and ODP, has now brought him full circle to this incredible opportunity to represent his country on the international stage.

“This opportunity is a dream come true,” Novatski said. “As a young player from Pennsylvania, I played recreational soccer, travel soccer and ODP through Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer and now as a coach I get to share these experiences with my players.”

The King Cup guarantees each team four games over the course of the weekend, with the U.S. Over-35 team scheduled to play on Saturday, January 18 at 1:55 P.M. and 4:25 P.M., followed by a game on Sunday, January 19 at 1:55 P.M. With shorter, 30-minute halves, the format is designed to cater to the senior players while providing an intense, competitive environment.

“Like many players of today, my goal then was to compete with and against players at the highest levels,” Novatski added. “This sport has given me so much. It’s an honor and privilege to be here. Go, Team USA!”

Novatski’s journey from youth player to coach and now international competitor highlights how the game continues to inspire and connect people across all levels. Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer is proud to support him as he represents United States and wishes him and his team the best of luck in the King Cup!
