Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer has added a director of operations to its staff with the hiring of Leo Kelly.
Kelly joins the organization full-time after working for 25 years in the security industry and event management. Though new to the staff, Kelly is not new to the organization. He most recently worked with Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer as site director at Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School for the 2023 US Youth Soccer Eastern Presidents Cup last June.
Leo attended Kutztown University and has experience coaching both soccer and lacrosse at the youth and high school level and played soccer and rugby in college.
He has coached soccer and lacrosse at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, along with coaching at Colonial Soccer Club and served on the board at Conshohocken Bulldogs Youth Lacrosse. He’s also active in community programs and serves on the board of the Philadelphia Swimming Club and is an active member of the Wissahickon Ski Club.
As director of operations, Kelly is responsible for event management, SafeSport/Risk Management and disciplinary issues and will assist with the management of the state cups.
Kelly lives in Lafayette Hill, Pa. with his wife, Terri, and is the father of three sons: Ryan, Jake and Caleb.
