Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer is thrilled to announce the prestigious US Youth Soccer Eastern Presidents Cup will make its return to Montgomery County in 2025! This exciting news was unveiled on Friday at The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board Annual Luncheon, highlighting Eastern Pennsylvania’s commitment to bringing premier soccer events to our community.

Following the success of the 2023 Presidents Cup, which showcased the region’s ability to deliver top-tier sporting events, Eastern Pennsylvania is teaming up with The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board and Valley Forge Sports to welcome approximately 140 teams and over 3,000 players, coaches and referees from across the eastern United States.

The five-day competition will take place from June 13-17 at The Proving Grounds in Conshohocken. As part of a national competition, The USYS Eastern Presidents Cup is one of four regional events that will send winners to the U.S. Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup.

Teams from 15 state associations, including Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Virgina, will compete in group play for first three days, with each team playing in one game per day across the 16 different fields. Group stage winners will advance to the semi-finals on the fourth day and the finals on the fifth day.

“We’re thrilled to host the event once again as both a service and showcase for the soccer community in this region as well as highlighting the tremendous hospitality and value of Montgomery County’s hotels, restaurants shops and attractions,” said Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer CEO Chris Branscome.

The 2023 tournament had a significant economic impact on Montgomery County, generating approximately $5 million and supporting local hotels and businesses with around 5,000 room nights. It was the single largest sporting event ever held in the county. This year, Eastern Pennsylvania aims to build on that success, showcasing the incredible talent within our region while driving economic growth and community engagement.

As the fifth largest State Soccer Association, Eastern Pennsylvania proudly serves as the governing body for youth soccer in the eastern part of the state with 375 member leagues and clubs and 120,000 players.

Under the leadership of CEO Chris Branscome, who will chair the local organizing committee for the Presidents Cup alongside partners from the VFTCB, and Valley Forge Sports, Eastern Pennsylvania is committed to delivering an exceptional experience for players, families, and fans.
