We are so excited and proud of Mike Barr, our Technical Director for receiving the US Youth Soccer Excellence in Youth Coaching Education Award, “The Dr. Thomas Fleck Award” at the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
Chris Branscome states, “Mike Barr is and has been a leader amongst the countries best coaches in youth soccer for many years. He is truly deserving of the Dr. Thomas Fleck Award presented by the NSCAA at the coaches convention this year. The award was designed to honor a lifetime of dedication where one has with integrity, honor, humor and humility made extensive and far reaching contributions to the process by which youth soccer coaches are educated in America. By definition, this award encapsulates exactly what Mike Barr has dedicated his extensive career towards. We hope all of Eastern Pennsylvania Youth soccer will join us in celebrating Mike’s achievements this weekend.”
Friday’s Awards Banquet and Saturday’s All-America
Ceremony will be Livestreamed
In an effort to accommodate our coaching community who couldn’t join us in Kansas City for the 2022 United Soccer Coaches Convention, they will be livestreaming the Awards Banquet on Friday, Jan. 21 at 7 PM CST and the All-America Ceremony on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 1 PM CST.
