Innovate to Grow Grant

Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer is an extension of the U.S. Soccer Federation, thus being “committed to providing soccer coaches, from beginner to most advanced, with up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge, so coaches across the United States can ensure that players develop to their full potential.” We will ensure each coach follows the current U.S. Soccer Coaching Pathway.

In an effort to have qualified, confident coaches working with our players in underserved areas, we have made grassroots on-site licenses accessible. In addition, each of our grassroots instructors will act as mentors for every coach who takes a course. These instructors will make themselves available by phone or email to address any problems or questions these new coaches may experience. All of our resources at Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer will be available to these coaches as well.

Each program or club that participates and grows their club by 25% will receive (2) clinics hosted by Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer’s highly qualified trainers and Technical Director. These clinics will incorporate the U.S. Soccer Player Development Initiatives and will show the new clubs the proper way to align with these standards. During the clinics, participants will receive soccer balls and other giveaways. By saturating the community, we hope to continue to build soccer enthusiasts that make sure the program does not fade away. We want to support local programming to grow our national impact in the world of soccer.
