At just 17 years old, Isabella Stankunas has already made a name for herself on the U.S. Women’s Cerebral Palsy National Team.
In 2022, at just 14 years old, she was invited to her first U.S. Women’s National Para Team camp, marking the start of her rise as an elite player. Despite being the youngest participant at the camp by three years, Bella quickly proved she belonged at that level.
Fast forward to 2024, Bella embarked on her first international trip with the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National CP teams, traveling to Ireland to train and play two friendlies – one against Ireland and the other against Denmark.
This trip was a landmark moment for Bella, as it marked her international debut and her first cap for the U.S. Women’s National CP Team. Coming off the bench in the match against Ireland, she wasted no time making an impact, scoring two second-half goals to secure a 6-2 victory for the U.S. Her momentum continued in the match against Denmark, where she added another goal to help the U.S. secure a commanding 16-4 win.
As she continues to excel on the national stage, Bella remains focused on finishing her varsity soccer season at Perkiomen Valley High School. At the same time, she continues to hone her skills with her club, West Mont. Balancing commitments to her club team, high school varsity team, and the U.S. Women’s CP National Team, Bella consistently demonstrates her passion and dedication to the sport.
