Check-In 

  • Please arrive 20-30 minutes before your scheduled session and check-in at the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer table 
  • Players will receive a tryout T-shirt at check-in to wear for BOTH Tryout 1 and Tryout 2 (Sept. 21)

Tryout Format (Evaluations conducted by ODP staff & evaluators) 

  • Group warm-up 
  • Technical Stations 
  • Small-sided games 
  • Match play 

**Bring water, shin guards, and appropriate training gear. 

After Tryouts

  • Players and Families will receive follow-up communication regarding Tryout 2. 
  • Tryout 2 will be held on September 21. If any changes are made to the schedule/logistics it will be shared prior to the event.  
  • After Tryout 2 communication regarding team selections will be send via email as well as posted on our website. 

Thank you for your preparation and effort – we’re excited to kick off a competitive tryout process. 

Note: Players are not required to attend both tryouts; however, attending more than one session increases the opportunity for evaluators to observe and assess each player more thoroughly.

After tryouts, state staff, coaches and evaluators will place players into either teams or player pools based on their skill level and site. You will receive an email with your child’s placement, 25/26 ODP training schedule, and Registration link the first week of October.

You will receive an email with placement details, training schedules, and key dates during the first week of October. As well as step by step information on how to register.

If your child wasn’t selected for a team, we encourage them to try again next year and continue to participate in various developmental programs, such as Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Summer Camps to keep improving their skills.
