The Philadelphia "City Six" men's basketball coaches, including two-time national champion Jay Wright (fourth from left) celebrated #ACSFutbolFriday with Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer, Red Card Cancer and the American Cancer Society.

Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer, Red Card Cancer and the American Cancer Society celebrated #ACSFutbolFriday on Friday, October 12, across eastern Pennsylvania and beyond.

Futbol Friday was established in 2015 as way to demonstrate the soccer community's support for the fight against cancer. Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer asks friends, colleagues and family to wear soccer jerseys on Futbol Friday, donate to Red Card Cancer and share their stories and pictures on social media.

This year Red Card Cancer partnered with the American Cancer Society to broaden Futbol Friday's reach. As part of the promotion, former U.S. Men's National Team player and National Soccer Hall of Famer John Harkes joined the fight.

He was far from alone. Click the pictures below for a full gallery, with a special shout out to Exeter Youth Soccer and VE Soccer for their wonderful work to support Futbol Friday and Red Card Cancer.
