Warren F, Beideman, Jr, learned to play soccer at the age of 6 at the Old Lighthouse Boys Club at Front and Erie in philadelphia, went to Northeast High School, graduated in 1949, started in the Varsity team for three years, the team was undefeated and unscored upon. Mr. Beideman coached his son at the Old Lighthouse and won many championship title. He played at the Phoenix Soccer Club. While playing he had the opportunity to play against Walter Bahr, and had the opportunity to caoch Matt Bahr, who was the kicker for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is instrumental in starting the Northhampton Soccer Club which is now F.C. Bucks/Council Rock. He has the great pleasure to coach his son, Warren F, Beideman, III, Davey McWilliams and Pat Farrell. In 1998, he was inducted into the Philadelphia Oldtimers Hall of Fame and in 2010 he was awarded the Governor's award in Delaware for his outstanding volunteerism to the Cape Henlopen Soccer Club. While waiting for his diagnosis, he was still on the field helping his son with the U-10 Boys of  Warrington Soccer Club. He was a man that everyone could count on. If anyone needed help, Coach B was there.  He will be dearly missed.
