Walter R. McClinton Sr. of Feasterville passed away Sunday, Dec. 4 2011, surrounded by his loving family. He was 80.
He was a Feasterville resident since 1965.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary; his stepfather, Nelson Cornell; and his brothers, William, Charles and John.
He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict.
Walter was an auto parts department manager for several auto dealerships and most recently worked at the former IGA Federal Credit Union in Feasterville until his retirement in 2004.
Walter enjoyed coaching his children in baseball and soccer at the Lower Southampton Athletic Association. It was through that, that he developed a passion for the game of soccer that lasted 35 years. He was a Coach, Administrator, League Register for the Inter-County Soccer League and various state and national organizations.
He was inducted into the Philadelphia Oldtimers Soccer Hall of Fame in 2000.
Walter is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn, and his four children: Kathleen Powell (Seth), Butch (Nancy), Lori Ingram (Gene) and David, and his little 'Turkeys' as he called them, Dale and Even Coyne, Lisa Powell, Corey, Conner, Kyle and Ian McClinton and the Littlest 'Turkey,' Kendra Coyne.
He is also survived by a sister, Marie Hoffer and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the James O. Bradley Funeral Home Inc., 260 Bellevue Ave., Penndel, PA 19047. Interment will be private.
Friends will be received on Friday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until time of the service.
