Germantown Friends School: Seeking Girls Varsity Coach*

Germantown Friends School is accepting applications for the position of Girls Varsity Soccer Head Coach. GFS is looking for a skilled leader, mentor and communicator with proven coaching experience to help continue to build on a strong tradition. High-level playing experience is preferred (college or beyond). Candidates should be knowledgeable about the most current tactical and technical training methods that apply to soccer. It is preferred that applicants illustrate a strong commitment to professional / career development (USFF licensing, NSCAA diploma, etc.). Applicants must demonstrate the ability to maintain a competitive team, and lead the overall soccer program (grades 6-12), while adhering to the values of the school, and the Friends Schools League.
We will look to the head coach to work collaboratively with other coaches and teams within the program to establish consistent philosophies and teaching methods. S/he will be expected to mentor fellow coaches in their coaching development. We also expect the Head Varsity Coach to conduct camps, clinics and individual training throughout the year.
Candidates with the aptitude and / or qualifications for classroom teaching are especially encouraged to apply.
This is a part-time position from August - early November, Monday - Saturday, including some weekend games. Availability at 3:00 p.m. for practices and games is essential.

Continental FC: Seeking Boys Academy Coach
Continental FC strives to create a nationally recognized, community centered, youth soccer club that addresses all levels of soccer and maximizes the development of every soccer player consistent with their commitment. Continental FC will continue with the elite training philosophies and operations, which have already produced an unparalleled track record of player development, for its teams, players and programs.
We are seeking Boys Academy coach to join our Technical Staff and assist us to further grow the US Development Academy program at Continental FC.
The Continental FC Academy coach will concentrate on:
Teaching Continental FC curriculum & philosophies which will be the foundation of all instruction
- Must be able to demonstrate and perform at the highest level all instructed drills and skills
- Excel at handling a group of 15-20 players
- Able to develop relationships with players, parents, Technical staff and Administration that demonstrates world class customer service
- Deliver the best possible training that inspires continued player development throughout each season
Player Training and Development:
- Patient & enthusiastic and MUST demonstrate love for player development
- Able to establish appropriate and relevant connections with players to achieve maximal engagement
- Must have ability to create a positive, fun learning environment
- Arrives on time to each session
- Keeps detailed accurate records
- Communicates well with Academy Director
- Neat in appearance (coaching equipment and kit will be provided)
- Friendly and courteous with players/families and all club staff
- Upholds the Continental FC brand
Qualifying Education and/or Experience
- Minimum Licenses US Soccer ‘B’ License
- Minimum 5 years of work-related coaching skill, knowledge, or experience is required.
- Must have passion for Continental FC and US Development Academy mission and demonstrated interest in the field of soccer education and youth development.
- Video analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in relevant area

Palumbo Soccer Club: Seeking Coaches
Palumbo Soccer Club (Philadelphia, PA) is currently looking to add coaches to its existing staff in both the boys' and girls' travel categories. Ideal candidates will have previous youth coaching experience, a strong background in the sport, and a minimum of a National "E" license (if no "E" license, we do have opportunities as shadow assistants until obtaining the "E" and gaining a requisite amount of coaching experience). Excellent communication skills and a positive, enthusiastic attitude are also required.
- Leading your team's twice-weekly Training Sessions;
- Acting as Head Coach in all competitive games for your assigned team(s);
- Communicating regularly with your team's parent base;
- Communicating regularly with the Club's Director of Coaching.
Palumbo's compensation package is based upon qualifications, team(s) coached, and is competitive with current market rates. We also offer educational reimbursement for coaches looking to enhance their certifications. For those qualified coaches looking to coach multiple travel teams, we do offer opportunities to coach two teams, with training sessions scheduled "back-to-back" on the same night.

Radnor Soccer Club: Executive Director
The Radnor Soccer Club, a 501c (3) non-profit corporation, is immediately seeking a motivated and qualified Executive Director, reporting to the President of the Board of Directors, to lead and represent our 1,200-member club. RSC promotes a positive environment for player development while striving to instill good sportsmanship and a passion for the game to residents of Radnor Township. The ideal candidate will need to be a well-organized individual who can juggle the communication, coordination, needs and desires of players, coaches, parents, referees, local administrators, and other stakeholders. The Executive Director will adhere to RSC’s core ideology/values and lead RSC toward the club’s envisioned future. The Executive Director will need to be a self-motivator but also a team player, recognizing when to delegate and when to take control. A strong sense of leadership, a high level of integrity and a healthy sense of humor are a must for this position. Discretion, improvisation, and diplomacy are used on a daily basis.
