Application Requirements

The Competitive Coach of the Year is awarded to a competitive coach for both a boy's team and a girl's team for his or her coaching activities, sportsmanship, player development, personal coaching development and citizenship. The national Boys and Girls Competitive Coaches of the Year is announced at the US Youth Soccer Awards Gala, as a part of the US Youth Soccer adidas Workshop.

In conjunction with US Youth Soccer national and regional boys and girls Competitive Coach of the Year awards, Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer asks for nominations by October 26, 2012 for Travel Coach of the Year awards which are then submitted for regional and national awards consideration.

Nominations should include the following:

1.) Completed nomination form (click here for the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer nomination form)

2.) Soccer resume, which should include
          a.)goals/objectives
          b.)years coached
          c.)teams coached
          d.)certification/licenses
          e.)won/loss record not important
          f.)community dedication
          g.)achievements

3.) A total of three to five letters of recommendation form any of the following:
          a.)league/club president
          b.)state president
          c.)player
          d.)parent
          e.)referee
          f.)peers
