Welcome to the 2019-20 Season!
Although training has already been underway for weeks and a few preseason tournaments are in the books, this weekend marks the official beginning of the new 2019-20 campaign! Players, coaches, parents and administrators will flock to fields across eastern Pennsylvania to get the season started in earnest. Welcome back!
Tons of work has already been put in to get to this point with even more still to come; at the same time, the beginning of the season serves as the perfect reminder to how fun, enjoyable and fulfilling the game of soccer can be.
We commend the coaches who put in countless hours on and off the field to prepare their players for the mental and physical grind of the season while simultaneously fostering a competitive and encouraging environment. That sentiment is also extended to parents, who spend a large amount of their time in cars, stands and on sidelines at their kids’ games…we ask that you continue to offer your support regardless of the final score.
Be sure to tag Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer (@EPAYouthSoccer) on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram with your photos and videos from this weekend using the hashtag #OpeningWeekend2019.
And finally, good luck to all of the plethora of players and teams! Have fun, stay safe and most of all, enjoy every second of your games and practices!
