After this weekend's action, several clubs are setting their plans for May 19 and June 2-3. Check out the highlights below.

Eastern Pennsylvania NCS State Cup

  • With typical regions dominating cup play, northern Pennsylvania made its presence known as well. North Union Adrenaline defeated Penn Fusion, 3-2, in a U13 Boys semifinal in Lewisburg. Also, among the central Pennsylvania powers, Lancaster's Penn United Force beat Lehigh Valley United, 2-0, to reach the U17 Girls final
  • 18 teams in total clinched a place in the state cup finals. HMMS (U12B, U15B, U16G), PA Classics (Two U12G, U13G), Ukrainian Nationals (U13B, U16B), Lehigh Valley United (U16B, U16G) and Philadelphia Soccer Club (U13G, U14G) have multiple teams in the finals.

Eastern Pennsylvania Presidents Cup

  • Perhaps no division in cups has been tighter than the U13 Boys Presidents Cup: three out of the four knockout stage games have been decided by one goal. The fourth needed extra time. This weekend, FC USA Black defeated Continental FC Dortmunt, 3-2, in one semifinal, while Southern Chester County Soccer Association Dragons upended Ukrainian Nationals Red, 2-1, in the other.
  • If you like parity, the Presidents Cup is for you. The 24 finalists--with more to come in the U13 Girls, U16 Girls, U18 Girls and U18 Boys--represent 22 different clubs. LDC United (U14B, U18B) and Vereinigung Erzgebirge SC (U16B, U16G) are the only two clubs, as of now, with multiple teams in the finals.

  • We have a Lehigh Valley showdown in the U15 Boys semifinals. Bethlehem Eagles defeated Parkwood Devils, 3-0, in one quarterfinal. In the semifinals, they'll meet Western Lehigh United Knights, who beat Buckingham United Blue, 4-2.
