Union League's Good Citizenship

Honors players active in EPYSA who show citizenship above and beyond peers on the field and in the classroom.

Application Requirements

The Union League of Philadelphia awards their Good Citizenship medal to as many as twelve boys and girls active in EPYSA. Nominees must be in their junior year of high school (high school seniors are not eligible).

Candidates must have demonstrated good citizenship exemplified by their cooperative effort, self-control, perseverance, serious scholarship, good sportsmanship. Accomplishment in athletics, school, extra curricular activities and community service. Award winners are eligible to apply for a college scholarship award of $1,000/year.

Nominations should be mailed to the state office by January 15. They should include the name, address, club/league, and phone number of the nominee and the name and phone number of the nominator. In addition, a brief resume of the nominee and an explanation of their qualifications to receive the award should accompany the nomination.
