2019 SEPA Soccer Hall of Fame Banquet

SEPA Soccer Hall of Fame Class of 2019

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Soccer Hall of Fame inducted its 2019 class on Saturday night at Cannstatter Volksfest-Verein in Philadelphia. The class included Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Chief Operating Officer Kelly Connor, Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Coaching Education and Olympic Development Program coach Don Brady and ODP coach Tom Creighton.

As the Southeastern Pennsylvania Soccer Hall of Fame celebrated its 2019 class on Saturday night, Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer had reason to celebrate as well.

Kelly Connor, Chief Operating Officer, and Don Brady, a staff coach in the Olympic Development Program as well as with Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Coaching Education, were part of the 2019 class.

Prior to entering the business side of soccer, Kelly, a Wallingford native and Strath Haven High School grad, was an accomplished player. She was invited to train with both the under-19 and under-21 U.S. Women's National Teams and was an All-American at Florida State. In 2005, Kelly was a candidate for the MAC Hermann Trophy, given to the nation's best college soccer player.

After graduating from Florida State with a degree in Business Management, Kelly completed her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and Masters of Sport Business Management (MSBM) at the University of Central Florida’s DeVos Program.

Kelly worked as the Director of Outreach for the former Women’s Professional Soccer team, the Philadelphia Independence before joining Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer in 2011.

She is a member of the FC Delco Hall of Fame and Delaware County Athletes Hall of Fame.

Don, current coach of the U16 Boys (2003) Eastern Pennsylvania ODP team, has won three US Youth Soccer East Region ODP titles since 2015 and spent 14 seasons as head coach of the Central Bucks High School South boys teams. Don, who holds a U.S. Soccer National A License, is a coaching instructor on the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Coaching Education staff. He graduated from William Tennent High School (Warminster) and Florida Southern College (Lakeland, FL). Don played amateur soccer locally for the United German Hungarians and Phoenix Soccer Club.
