Official Website | Schedule
A World Cup-style tournament held over several months, the 2019 Philadelphia International Unity Cup officially kicked off last weekend to unite the city’s neighborhoods and celebrates its diverse immigrant communities through soccer.
The brainchild of Mayor Jim Kenney, alongside partnerships from Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer, the Philadelphia Union and others, the Unity Cup has become an annual tradition after its massively successful inaugural year in 2016.
Who: 52 countries from Africa, Asia, Central, North and South America, Europe, Middle East, and the Caribbean. There will be 13 groups of four and each team plays each other once in the group.
Where: All the group stage games will be played between four sites - James Ramp Playground, Hunting Park, South Philadelphia Super Site, and Smith Playground. The top two teams in each group will advance to a knockout stage.
Cost: At each site, there will be multiple matches to attend throughout each day. All the games are free of entry and the Unity Cup welcomes all fans. Come celebrate and express your support of Philadelphia and its diversity through soccer.
