Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer will, where possible, offer two levels of competition for the 2014 Indoor Cups:
- Elite – Most Competitive
- Challenge – Competitive
Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer will do its best to meet all competition requests, but the Cup Committee / Competition Director will have final authority on placement. All decisions of the Committee/Competition Director are final.
The previous year's Indoor Cup "A" or "Elite" level Champion and Finalist (if they apply) should register to be in the "A" or "Elite" level competition of the Indoor Cup. The Cup Committee/Competition Director/Administrator may place a team they deem worthy of higher competition in the “A” or “Elite” level. Additionally, if the previous year’s National Championship Series (NCS) Champion or Finalist applies, they could also be placed in the "A" or "Elite" level for the Indoor Cup. Champion and Finalist of the "Challenge" or "B" level from the previous Indoor Cup may register for the "Elite" or "Most Competitive" Flight of the 2015 Indoor Cup but are not compelled to.
There will be no seeding in either competition level. Once the competition levels and teams for each level are defined for an age group, a blind draw will be conducted to place teams in the respective brackets.
NEW THIS YEAR - U13 –U19 TEAMS MAY "SPLIT" THEIR ROSTER TO FORM TWO UNIQUE TEAMS FOR COMPETITION. There is no U18 Age Group in The Indoor Cup. No player may play on multiple teams throughout that Indoor Cup. Each team will be responsible to provide INDIVIDUAL team lineups and no player may play between registered teams during that Cup for any reason. See 2015 Indoor Cup Rules for more information. No select teams will be accepted. Secondary and/or guest players are not allowed.
Any team withdrawing from the tournament after the close of registration (December 4th, 2014 at 12:00 PM (noon) EST and not within 7 days of the event) will have their application fee returned to them as long as that team can be replaced in the competition. Replacement teams may have their application fee discounted. Teams that withdraw will be refunded their application fee minus the discount to the replacement team. Teams withdrawing within 7 days of the day of the tournament will not have their application fee returned regardless of whether a replacement team can be found.
Every team will be guaranteed at least three (3) twenty-four (24) minute games – plus playoff game(s) if the team advances from Group Play. Individual awards will be given to all players of the Championship and Finalist Teams for each Level and Gender. Champions will receive Championship soccer scarves and individual Championship medals. Finalists will all receive individual medals. There are no team awards.
Medical Trainers will not be provided by Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer or the competition venues. It is understood that all teams, players and coaches participate at their own risk.
