Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer will, where possible, offer two levels of competition for the 2014 Indoor Cups:
- Elite – Most Competitive
- Challenge - Competitive
Coaches must request a competition level during the online registration process. Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer will do its best to meet the requests, but the Cup Committee will have final authority on placement and all decisions of the Committee are final.
The Cup Committee will place the previous year's Indoor Cup "A" ("Elite") flight Champion and Finalist (if they apply) in the "Elite" level competition of the Indoor Cup. Additionally, if the previous year’s National Championship Series (NCS) Champion or Finalist applies they will also be placed in the "Elite" ("A") level competition. Champion and Finalist of the "B" ("Challenge") flight from the previous Indoor Cup will be placed in the "Elite" ("A") flight of the 2014 Indoor Cup.
There will be no seeding in either competition level. Once the competition levels and teams for each level are defined for an age group, a blind draw will be conducted to place teams in the respective brackets.
The roster for teams participating in the Indoor Cup competition is restricted to their Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer league-approved team roster. Team ages U16 and above may split their rosters and compete as two separate teams. No select teams will be accepted. Secondary and/or guest players are not allowed.
Any team withdrawing from the tournament after the close of registration (December 5th, 2013) will have their application fee returned to them as long as that team can be replaced. Replacement teams may have their application fee discounted. Withdrawn teams will be refunded their application fee minus the discount to the replacement team. Teams withdrawing within 24 hours of the day of the tournament will not have their application fee returned regardless of whether a replacement team can be found.
Every team will be guaranteed at least three (3) twenty-four (24) minute games. There are no team awards. Individual awards will be given to the players only. Champions will receive Championship soccer scarves and individual Champion medals. Finalists will all receive individual Finalist medals.
No medical trainers will be provided by Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer or the venue. It is understood that all teams, players and coaches participate at their own risk. Complete Indoor Cup rules and regulations, schedules, and facility directions are available on the navigation bar.
