Lehigh Valley United 00 Black are National Champions!

Following five days of competition, LVU claimed their second national title in club history with a 1-0 overtime win over Baltimore Celtic. Entering the match during the first frame of extra time, Luke McMahon netted the game-winner in the 95th minute to secure the second McGuire Cup for the club and the first since 2013.

The US Youth Soccer title marked the 18th national championship for Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer. Additionally, all previous winners of the McGuire Cup - the oldest youth championship in the country - are multiple cup holders. FC Delco, Lighthouse Boys Club of Philadelphia, and now Lehigh Valley United each have at least two championships to their name.

In addition to Lehigh Valley United (U19B),  PA Dominion (U15B), and FC Revolution (U15G) made it to the final day of competition on Sunday.

Four teams from Eastern Pennsylvania represented their clubs in pursuit of a national championship with three boys teams and one girls side advancing to semifinals. A record-setting nine teams began the week which set the mark for the most in the Eastern Region and accounted for nearly 12% of the total field of 104 teams in attendance.
