The 2019 Eastern Pennsylvania Indoor Cup opens January 12-13 with the U14 and U15 age groups competing at the Wyoming Valley Sports Dome in Wilkes-Barre!

We preview each division below. Click the age group for a full schedule of games.

Will you be in Wilkes-Barre? Tag us with your best pictures or videos of the action on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and use #IndoorCup2019. We'll pick out a few of our favorites to receive an Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer prize pack!

U14 Boys (Elite | Challenge)

  • The Elite division features a true state championship. Four distinct regions of eastern Pennsylvania are represented: Fox Chase SC FC United Juniors (Philadelphia), HMMS-Eagle FC Dortmund (Mechanicsburg), Electric City Shock JR. FC Volt Strikers (Scranton) and Lower Merion SC Hawks (Lower Merion).
  • 12 teams will compete for the Challenge title, including Hunter SC Union, which looks to improve upon last year’s semifinal berth in the U13 Challenge White division.

U14 Girls (Elite | Challenge)

  • In the Elite division, two teams return to the competition after playing in the 2018 U13 Indoor Cup: FC Europa Elite and Lower Merion Force. Last year, FC Europa splits its roster and saw both teams reach the final, where they decided to share the championship. The roster is split again in 2019 as is Lower Merion Force’s. Penn Express FC Venom and Malvern United Lions will look to spoil the party.
  • 10 teams from across the state—from Montoursville Warriors and North Union United Fury in north central Pennsylvania to Back Mountain Impact in northeast PA to Quakertown and Towamencin north of Philadelphia—will compete in the Challenge division. Returning U13 champion FC Europa Premier returns.

U15 Boys (Elite | Challenge)

  • Lower Merion SC is well represented on opening weekend, including in the U15 Boys Indoor Cup. Ambush has split its roster in the Elite division and will contend with Central Susquehanna SC Collision and Penn FC Youth Spartans for the title.
  • Several returning teams will look to better their results from 2018. Bloomsburg Trappers SC Strikers and Abington SC ATS Union will take on newcomer FC Providence Hawks in Group A. Boyertown United, 1-1-1 in 2019, is in Group B.

U15 Girls (Elite | Challenge)

  • The Elite division returns a strong field. Defending 14 Girls champion FC Europa Elite and runner-up Penn FC Youth Lightning are back, as are Northeast United Fusion (two rosters, both 2-1-1 last year) and North Union United Strikers (3-1-0 in 2018).
  • While their club mates will compete in the Elite division, North Union United Strikers will also have an outfit in the Challenge bracket. Last year, the Strikers won the U14 Challenge White division. The competition will be tough in 2019—Valley SC Voodoo, 2018 U14 Challenge Blue champion, is in the field as well.
