Coach of the Year Boys/Girls

Honors a coach of great value to their teams in sprit and in knowledge.

Application Requirements

In conjunction with the USYSA National and Regional Boys and Girls Coach of the Year Awards, EPYSA asks for nominations by the September 30 (The Board of Directors vote at their October Meeting). The EPYSA winners are then put into nomination at the regional level and subsequently the regional winners are nominated for the National award.

Nominations should include the following:

1.) Completed nomination form

2.) A letter including why this Nominee should be selected as coach of the year

3.) Soccer resume, which should include
          a.)goals/objectives
          b.)years coached
          c.)teams coached
          d.)certification/licenses
          e.)won/loss record not important
          f.)community dedication
          g.)achievements

4.) A total of three to five letters of recommendation form any of the following:
          a.)league/club president
          b.)state president
          c.)player
          d.)parent
          e.)referee
          f.)peers

Nominations for the Boys and Girls Coach of the Year are due in the State office no later than September 30. EPYSA winners are submitted to the region; regional winners are submitted to USYSA.
